Guestbook / Gästebuch / Libro de huéspedes

People keep asking us for a guestbook. But a book we don't have. We invite our guests to write their comments directly on our website. So that those at home and future guests can read along. Everybody happy, we reckon.

[By the way: Aire du temps was based in Spain (on the other side of the Pyrenees) for its first year. That's why you'll find comments on Spanish village life, tapas and that kind of thing...]

Help us extend our 'Le petit prince' collection

We might not have a guestbook-as-a-book, but literature we have plenty. Part of our library you can even take away with you (in that case we would appreciate it if you leave another title behind).

Did you for example ever read the magical tale of "The little prince", written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry? Remember how the author-as-a-young-boy made his first drawing, Drawing Number One, depicting an elephant-inside-a-boa-constrictor? But when he showed it to any adult person:

"... he [a grown-up] would always answer: 'That’s a hat.' Then I wouldn’t talk about boa constrictors or jungles or stars. I would put myself on his level and talk about bridge and golf and politics and neckties." [From: Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Le petit prince, 1943]

Well, "The little prince" is the perfect literature for a lazy afternoon in one of the  Aire du temps hammocks, or a winter evening next to the fire. It's all about love and energy and things like that. That's why we collect as many translations of the story as we can get - to make sure all our guests can read it in their native language. So far we've got copies in:

Afrikaans

Deutsch (German)

עברית (Hebrew)

Português (Portuguese)

Català (Catalonian)

English

Italiano (Italian)

Slovenčina (Slovenian)

Čeština (Czech)

Español (Spanish)

Magyar (Hungarian)

Suomi (Finnish)

Dansk (Danish)

Français (French)

Nederlands (Dutch)

Svenska (Swedish)

Türkçe (Turkish)

You can help us! If your native language is not yet listed above, then please bring or send us a copy. We will reimburse you of course, and apart from that you will receive the everlasting gratitude of future Aire du temps guests ;-).
