You can reach Sainte Marie through the N125/D825. From there follow the signpost towards the D161. Drive on through the village till the very end. How to reach Aire du temps

By train
 

From Paris:
There is a night train from Paris-Austerlitz to Toulouse (dep. 22.56, mon-thu). If you catch this, you can have breakfast at our table around 9.30 the next morning! The schedule*:

From Toulouse / Montréjeau / Luchon:
- from Toulouse-Matabiau there are 8 TER-trains a day (mon-sat) to Montréjeau and onwards to Luchon (vice versa). The slow train of 7.31 from Toulouse arrives in Saléchan-Siradan at 9.14 (3 km from our place). One or two trains only stop at larger train stations; if you´re in one of these, get off in Loures-Barbazan. Click here for detailed schedules of TER-SNCF. - from train station Montréjeau-Gourdan-Polignan there´s also a bus service towards Luchon. If you catch one of these, ask the driver to stop in Bagiry. (Click for a map.) Follow the signpost and the tarmac (!) road towards Sainte Marie, and onwards to Sainte Marie-Village. We´re in the last house up in the village.
- from train station Saléchan-Siradan you can either walk (see below, route ´by car from Luchon´), but you can also call us for our taxi service (see price list).

By plane

There are many daily charters to cities in southern France, like Toulouse and Pau-Pyrénées (1,5 hour driving from here) or Carcassonne (2,5 hours). Airtraffic.eu gives a good overview of cheap air traffic in Europe.

Huur op het vliegveld een auto, of neem een bus of taxi naar het dichtstbijzijnde treinstation, en vandaar de trein naar Montréjeau (zie boven).

From there, you either rent a car or take a bus/taxi to the nearest train station. Take a train to Montréjeau (see above).


By car

NB: gps-navigators often don´t recognize ´Sainte Marie´; then choose destination ´Siradan´.

Or use the coordinates: 42° 58' 19,53'' N / 0° 37' 5,45'' E.

 

From Toulouse or Pau / Tarbes:
- Take the A64 towards Tarbes/Lérida (Lleida)
- Take exit 17 (direction Montréjeau and Lérida, you enter the A645)
- A bit further on, follow the N125 towards Luchon
- Turn right following signposts to La Broquere/Loures-Barousse (across the train track)
- Keep following the N125/D825, through Loures-Barousse, Bertren, Bagiry…
- Turn right directly after Bagiry, following the signpost towards Sainte Marie (D161) - click for a map
- Follow the road, then turn right again to Sainte Marie (village)
- Follow the road up, to the very end (Bouto-Houec)
- Park your car in the backyard (= end of the road)

From Luchon / Val d´Aran (Spain):
- Follow signposts towards Saint-Béat and further on Loures-Barousse/Montréjeau (N125/D825)
- After you left the village of Saléchan, turn left to Siradan - click for a map
- Take the first turn right, towards Maison de retraite
- At the end of the track, turn left, towards Sainte Marie
- Again left at the end of the road and follow it upwards, to the very end (Bouto-Houec)
- Park your car in the backyard (= end of the road)
