Gite/apartment Aire du temps

At Aire du temps we've got two modest but comfortable self-catering apartments (gîtes) for rent: Hugo (2-4 people) and Huguette (2-7 people). Of course you could rent them together, in order to house a group of 12 people. Or more, if some of you like camping.

Bedlinen, towels and tea-towels are provided. Camp bed for babies and baby back carrier are available on request.

Our 2-4 people apartment 'Hugo' covers the upper floor of the guesthouse in our yard. All rooms offer a splendid view of the mountains. It has central heating and a fire place, so it's comfortable all year round.

Layout: open kitchen with fireplace; bathroom with washbasin and shower; and two bedrooms - one with a 160x200cm double bed; the other with twin 90x190cm beds. In the open kitchen there's also a clic-clac (sofa-bed), so in theory you could host six people, but that would be fairly cosy.

You enter by way of an outdoor staircase. Upstairs you'll find two tiny balconies. At the west side, there's a terrace where you can enjoy the afternoon and evening sun and a splendid view.

'Huguette' is the name of our new apartment (2-7 people). Well, 'new' might not be the right word - it's renovated. Located in the private quarters of former owner Huguette Druillet, it has this typically French touch. And of course an amazing view from the private veranda, where you'll certainly spend some pleasant hours reading, eating or just talking.

Gîte 'Huguette' has central heating and a fire place, so it's comfortable all year round.

Layout: downstairs the living room, a bedroom with a 140x200cm double bed, the separate kitchen and a toilet/washbasin. On the first floor the bathroom with washbasin and shower, as well as a big attic room right under the roof construction (with four 90x200cm single beds - an extra bed is possible).

You enter the attic room either by way of the indoor staircase, or an outdoor staircase.

As our guest you are free to make yourself comfortable in the garden and use the hammocks, as well as the swimmingpool for the little ones and/or the fireplace at the campsite. From our plot you can directly walk up the Gert mountain, taking a walk through forest and over mountain meadows. But there's so much more to see and do in the surrounding area! We can provide you with all the necessary maps, brochures and guidebooks.

In our gîtes you can be totally self-supporting, but you might as well join our breakfast table (please notify in advance). Of course we also filled up our fridge with cold drinks, in case you get thirsty.

In addition you can order a welcome pack for the first days. It contains tea, coffee, sugar, milk, fruit juice, bread, butter, eggs, cheese, pâté, jam and muesli - all locally produced and/or of organic quality.

To guests we also sell a limited selection of organic groceries (including wine and chocolate and things like that), and - if available - fresh herbs and vegetables from our own garden, organically grown.
